Shopping for fall can be tough sometimes because there’s so much that you want to buy, and you find yourself surrounded by too many clothes… and you can’t afford to buy all of them :(. So, to make things easier for YOU, I have put together a collage of all the essentials that you need for this fall. I suggest throwing out some of your old things, but keeping most of your stuff and mixing it with what I’ve suggested above. And the best thing is, you can look amazing and not break your wallet.

Girly Look

This look is very feminine, though without all the pink and bows and lace which tend to make the wearer look like a little girl. This is a more sophisticated and polished “girly” look that will turn heads. The skirt, with the khaki base color, lends the outfit a slightly preppy vibe, and the earrings compliment the print perfectly, imitating the same shape, but not using all the same colors so that it’s not too matchy-matchy (which is one of my greatest pet-peeves). The owl necklace gives the outfit a cute factor, and the bag is casual, though the look could easily be dressed up with more formal accessories. As for shoes, I would suggest neutral or gold- the style of shoe could be anything, though I lean the most towards flats, maybe low heels, with this ensemble.

Updated Rocker Look

This look gives the rocker look a bit of an update, incorporating trendy pieces into the outfit while still allowing it to be tough and edgy. The jacket is perfect for rocking out, and when paired with harem pants, looks very chic. The pumps just scream for attention with the daring print and the amazing height, and the earrings, made out of vintage pieces, don’t over-power the rest of the outfit, but compliment it nicely. This look would be perfect for playing in a show or watching one–or not!!! The look is trendy enough to be acceptable for just walking around, though you may want to switch the shoes for something lower…

This whole look gives off a really beachy vibe. Add your favorite bikini underneath and you suddenly have an outfit that says “I just got off the waves and I look amazing!” The shorts have sort of a tie-dyed wash, which goes really well with the crochet trim on this bubble top, and scarf adds even more texture. The transparency of the sandals is really interesting and gives a whole new twist on the gladiator style. The bag is almost the same color that the sandals would be if they weren’t see-through–so they go together but aren’t too matchy-matchy–and the flowers on the big bangle go really nicely with the scarf. The small rhinestones on these bangles give the entire outfit a big of glamour to finish it all off. This outfit is perfect for hitting the beach–or looking like you just did! It’s comfortable and sort of roomy while still looking absolutely adorable!

This gorgeous boho dress looks amazing with these gladiator sandals that have a very primitive, raw feel to them, but also an edge because of the metal studs. The purse is also earthy, with the Native-American-like fringe. The jewelry in this outfit is very special. The necklace combines old-looking coins to look very modern while the peace-sign earrings bring to mind thoughts of the 60’s. All together, this look is eye-catching and unique.

This is a list of the comfiest clothes I can find. I’ll add on to occasionally with new additions. They’re not in any particular order, just in the order that I find them in. I’ve scoured websites, the mall, and my closet, and this is what I’ve found (so far)…

3) Layering Thermal T. sizes XS-XXXL, tall M-XXL. GAP. $16. GAP stores and gap.com. (I know it’s mens’ but it’s SUPER comfy, as well as warm- and cute!)

THRIFT STORES ARE AMAZING!!!

I am now completely convinced that thrift stores are amazing! I was at the Crossroads Trading Co. with a friend earlier today. She found 7 For All Mankind jeans for $40 (they’re normally $150-250!!!) and I got a Juicy hoodie for $25! I also saw some Betsey Johnson shoes for less than $20! Crossroads is kind of a mix of a thrift store and normal store. They have some new stuff and some used, and everything is really well organized. They have everything separated out by the type of article (dress, jeans, etc.) and then by color and/or size. They also have a special designer section! In addition to buying clothes, you can also sell. They either give you money or store credit so you can empty out your old wardrobe and get a complete new one! I am in love with this store! You should definitely check it out- either the Crossroads or another one, like Buffalo Exchange.

Alexander McQueen’s one-shouldered black dress is absolutely breathtaking- breathtakingly expensive!!! But for a more affordable price, a Nordstrom dress is available instead. Even though this less costly dress is still a bit expensive, it’s absolutely perfect for any big occasion, so it could be worn multiple times (you get your money’s worth).

Deal of the Day- June 27th

These gladiator boots from Elizabeth and James, a fashion line by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, are absolutely gorgeous, but, unfortunately, expensive as well. They are also very daring, and most of us wouldn’t want to spend a ton of money on these boots only to not wear them because they’re so edgy. The Payless version allows us to try out the same look- just not for not for as much $$$.
